Sure Firefly family vacation pick

For an authentic experience in the Wine Country of California with the family you can’t go past renting a place outside Healdsburg. We enjoyed a family trip in August 2007 with 6 Adults and 2 children aged two, our accommodation was pearched on the edge of the Russian River, which was perfect for evening barbeques and sampling of good local wine.

We stayed at the lodge called Firefly which was had plenty of room for all with all the creature comforts, including a Wi Fi connection which was uesful for planning our day trips into the vinyards and visiting other local attractions in the Nappa Wine Country Region.

Location wise the place is perfect as it just 10 mins to town by car, which made it perfect for us to equip ourselves with the local produce etc. The kids loved it espically playing in the river with there dads, while Mums layed out on the loungers with a glass of wine and toe or two in the river. There was also a great park for the kids nearby only 5 mins down the road.

Rating: We give it 5 little nomads
