What we like about this Hotel
What we liked about the Crowne Plaza Canberra is the layout of the upgraded rooms which is different from your conventional hotel rooms. There is a nice space behind the bed which is perfect for the Porta-cot or roll away bed. We were able to use the room while our little nomad was sleeping quietly! Perfect the in room dining and movie was back on the cards. Crowne Plaza Canberra is located in the heart of the National Capital of Australia, there are plenty of things to do and see in Canberra if you don’t know Canberra, check out the Canberra Tourism website for details. Eating at the hotel is great and they do have great breakfast buffet, during the winter season its not uncommon to see your favourite NRL, AFL or other sporting hero’s wondering the corridors can be highlight for the younger ones.

TIP: If staying at the Hotel on Friday night with the family, maybe worth asking if you can be placed on the other side to the public bar, as its a well known local spot for drinks after work (don’t worry its nothing to worry about it, could be all over by the time you check in!)
