5 reasons for using a travel agent

Have you considered booking your next Family Holiday with a Travel Agent.

Families today who try to book a family holiday are confronted with so many choices book here, click this, get 50% off, how about a free night for booking here etc. The whole experience can seem really daunting when trying to book a cheap family holiday to new destinations.

Here are my 5 reasons to why I think its still important to have a relationship with a ‘traditional travel agency’ where you can sit down with an agent and let them find the best deal for your next family holiday destination to say, Fiji!

1. Time Poor – give it to a travel professional. Travel agencies like your local Flight Centre can help save you plenty of time in trying to find the best deal for your holiday plans with your family. Think about how much time would you spend researching etc to find the best price deal to ensure tht you can have cheap family holiday.
2. Complex bookings,  So your trying to book you families flights through Singapore then to London back to France then South Africa and back home to Australia. Why not get your local travel agent to assist and construct the bookings for you they will be able to do it in half the time you would do it in.
3. Relationships – You can’t build a relationship with a PC or server but you can sure build one with your local travels agent who does get to know what you like and expect from your travel destinations for you families holidays.
4. Security, Travel Insurance and back up, so you find yourself stuck with the family in Thailand after political coup breaks out what do you do? head to the airport and line up with the rest trying to get on the next flight out yes you would, but at the same time you may be surprised you may have an agent who knows your in the area and plans ahead and can see through the kaos and assist in getting you and your family out to safe destination.
5. Best Deals - If you can see the deal online, you can bet be sure that the travel agent will have access to the same special offer and deal or better.

Getting the most from your preferred travel agent, do your research online and go armed with what you would like to do for hotels, flights, destinations etc. Tell your agent your planned budget of what you have to spend. Give your agent a few days to come back to you with 2 to 3 options for your family holiday.
