Ideas for bored kids on Holidays

March 24, 2008

Staying at a rented holiday house, or camping in an unfamiliar area and you need a break from the bored kids or maybe you are looking to escape yourself or in search of some ideas for bored kids. Try finding a local adventure company to source out some fun learning experiences they often haven plenty of ideas for bored kids. Contact the local tourism or information centre in the area you are staying for the local adventure operators.

Family Holiday on the South Coast

If you’re on a family holiday in the Batemans Bay which is located on the NSW South Coast of Australia and you’re looking for something that evolves adventure. Fluid Adventures can get you up learning to Surf, or get you out on some fantastic trails for some mountain biking action, or if it’s a more leisurely approach you could just meander with the kids down one of the beautiful rivers in the area or along the coast in a kayak.

If your kids are old enough to tell you go jump, well you can now! Operating out of Moruya airport skydive oz provides you opportunity to jump from a perfectly good plane doing a tandem sky dive over the ocean. You will have enough adrenalin after this jump to handle any bored kid.

Getting to the South Coast is easy with daily flights leaving Sydney Airport to Moruya Airport with Rex Airlines, and hiring a car is easy through Hertz rental car service. If you’re driving the trip is approx 4 hours from Sydney through some very scenic and quaint coastal towns.

There is plenty of great easy accommodation in the area from B&B style, simple motel accommodation, we would recommend staying at Broulee Caravan park where you can rent self contained cabins perfect if travelling with kids.

Give “Damo” a call on +61 2 4471 6969 to find out more about Fluid Adventures and the activities that he can organise. Eurobodalla tourism has huge range of activities and things to do in the area like fishing, diving, maps, accommodation ideas.
