Best tips to finding your holiday mojo…
Ever wanted to find a way to reconnect get your mojo back with your partner, wife or husband while on a family holiday vacation without it being a scene from Vacation with Chevy Chase. Reconnecting with some spontaneity can seem difficult with kids in the picture, that’s why a little planning ahead can help you find time to relax and reconnect. I have outlined some top tips to get your mojo back with out a kid in sight!
Top tips to finding your holiday mojo, with out a kid in sight.
- Kids Clubs – hotels and resorts that offer this service are not stupid, I bet there is direct correlation between champagne sales and kids being in the club! Book the kids in for couple of hours and bingo you will have time out.
- Purchase something to surprise your other half, always good to set the mood.
- Get assistance from Family and friends why not come to arrangement with other parties travelling with you, where they take your kids for a couple of hours to give you a break and you can return the favour.
- If staying in a Hotel, try to book 2 rooms that are adjoining this way at least the kids get 1 room and mum and dad get the other, providing extra privacy and you don’t have to be as self conscious that kids are sleeping in the same room.
- Book a Babysitter ahead of staying, this guarantees you time out in the diary.
- Ditch the cliché candle-light dinner and book another room at the hotel your staying then order some room service ahead of time. Just be sure that its no where that the kids are going to bump into you, they ask why? what the?
Its everyone’s holiday so if your travelling with kids and mum wants to go shopping for couple of hours why not take the kids yourself for a couple of hours and then you can get a couple of hours off at later stage. Everyone then wins in the relaxation stakes.
Got a hot tip you want to share on how you spend your time and plan some time off from the kids.
