Great idea about planning ahead to get great prices. I am planning a weekend away with out the kids in October, so I will investigate options this week end. Thanks for the tip.
No problems - rule of thumb 14 days out with hotels you can usually pick up good rates, then maybe 1 or 2 days out if they are really desperate and have managed their books right (Some hotels panic known as dropping the pants to get the rates). General Rule the early bird can gets the good worm, especially during known busy periods like school holidays and public holidays. Happy searching for October.. cheers James.
