We haven't stayed here with the kids, in fact kids were not around (might tell something about long ago its been) However the Pitcher Inn in Warren Vermont has to be seen the rooms are themed a little different to the usual hotel rooms. Probably a place for the big kids!
I stayed at my best friends house and it was hilarious because my kids wqould try and ride their bull terrier around the backyard

On holiday we locked ourselves out and spent the night in a chicken coop! Kids thought it was clucking good fun, so did the chickens!
I haven't been to any particularly funny places with the kids, but I hope to find some good future spots to visit with the book!
On our first family holiday on the Gold Coast , where we all got a virus and were vomitting the entire 2-night holiday. It's funny now!

There was this unconventional motel that we stayed in Spain where the housekeepers all dress like Dora the Explorer. My daughter had an absolute ball!
There's a caravan park in Apollo Bay where the owners sneer at you when you arrive and scream at you when you're returning the key. Hilarious.
