Well connected family holidays
August 11, 2008
Some of us like to switch off from anything that has circuit board or chip in it when on holidays. While some of us just can’t do with out our mobile phones and laptops while on family holidays.
So if you’re the later, you may want to make sure that when you are travelling with the family you carry a light and durable laptop which does not comprise your ability to get on with reading emails, surfing the web, updating your spreadsheets or just organising those family holidays snaps on the fly.
The new era of ultra mobile laptops is fast becoming a travellers new best friend and is just as important as the camera inside the backpack. With all the big PC makers bar that of Toshiba now offering ‘netbooks’ , “ultramobile”, “tiny notebooks” , “Student Notebooks” etc. Which are designed for web surfing and other basic applications. Lenova has also just announced that they are entering the game with a low cost laptop priced to be around $400.
The following list are 5 hot family contenders to consider when looking for ultra mobile laptop.
- Acer Aspire one
