Noosa is a perfect family destination
April 14, 2008
Just spend a great week with the family holidaying on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland Australia in Noosa.
Accommodation was perfect which we organised through Richardson and Wrench and had amazing stylish Noosa home on the edge of the National Park which was a 2 min walk to the beach and into the park. Hasting street the main street of Noosa which is just off the main beach has beautiful boutique shops which makes any girl in search of quality jump inside was a 7 min walk. To the blokes, do not worry you can settle in at Cato’s for a beer and let the girls wonder, while you can watch the world go by.
Activities undertaken with were a trip to Australian Zoo which is must do for any anybody, spent a few hours wondering the Eumundi markets which included a plate of fantastic Tibet Dumplings for $7. Spent a morning on the water checking out the amazing homes of Noosa Waters with a boat we hired from Pelican Boat Hire cost was $55 for two hours. Enjoyed a walk in the National Park along the coastline to Dolphin point with our two year old and spotted some koalas on the way. Booked a babysitter one night and enjoyed a date night with my wife at Sails restaurant, fantastic local prawns washed down with a pinot gris with the sound of the waves lapping on the shore now that’s living.
Noosa is a fantastic destination for Australians to escape to with the family, as it’s the perfect destination as it caters for everyone. Kids will really love the area for the beaches and gelato bars on Hastings streets, Dads will love it for the relaxed atmosphere and knowing everyone is happy, mums and the girls will love it for the stylish shopping off Hasting streets. I personally love it for the food, Noosa is a foodies delight with restaurants and cafes having access to some of the best local produce in Australia.
